A detailed breakdown of the metrics we use to calculate your Toyota Hybrid savings.
The total distance you drive over a specific period (e.g., monthly or annually). This serves as the baseline for calculating how much fuel both a hybrid and a conventional vehicle would consume over the same journey.
The efficiency of your Toyota Hybrid. Toyota hybrids typically range between 20-30 km/L depending on the model and driving conditions. We use 23.3 km/L as a standard benchmark for the Corolla Cross HEV.
The fuel efficiency of a standard gasoline vehicle of similar size. This allows us to create a direct comparison. Typical non-hybrid SUVs or sedans often average around 10-14 km/L in mixed driving conditions.
The total volume of fuel the tank can hold. This is used to calculate your "Maximum Range"—the distance you can travel on a single full tank of fuel. Toyota hybrids often have smaller tanks but longer range than traditional cars.
The current market rate per liter of gasoline. This is the multiplier that converts your fuel savings (in Liters) into actual monetary savings (in Pesos).
(Distance ÷ Traditional Economy) - (Distance ÷ Hybrid Economy) = Fuel Saved
Fuel Saved × Fuel Price = Your Total Savings
